on the banks of the Danube, a golden light
caresses the tops of the trees and makes them shine

It is in this idyllic context that Adrian,
founder of the estate, falls under the spell of
these lands.
In 2008, this entrepreneur and world connoisseur
wine producer, supported by Professor of Oenology Nicolas VIVAS, decides to acquire the land which will become more
later the DUMETRIER Estate.

Recognising the potential to produce a quality wine thanks
to an exceptional terroir, Adrian traces the connection
between the past of a historically wine-growing Romania
and the present of this under-exploited terroir.
He sets himself the goal of contributing his stone to this
edifice, with his knowledge and that of his team, in order
to create a wine and a unique place that will leave an
indelible mark on the new history of Romanian Wine.
